People Who Studied Abroad #394:Odile Crick, artist and illustrator of the DNA double-helix model

From:
United Kingdom

Studied:
She was an art student in Vienna in 1938 when the Nazis occupied Austria. She returned to Britain, where she used her German-language skills as a translator and code-breaker at the Admiralty, which is where she met her future husband, Francis Crick. She later completed her studies in Britain at St Martins School of Art (now Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design).
