Beginning at age 11, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi spent four years studying at the boarding school Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland. He returned to Iran to complete his secondary education.
He first met Farah Diba at the Iranian Embassy in Paris during a reception for Iranian students studying in France. She was studying architecture at the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris.
